Dr. Jacqueline Carter
Dr. Jacqueline Carter is a registered clinical psychologist and a professor of psychology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Carleton University in Ottawa, and her doctorate at the University of Oxford in the UK.
She is internationally recognized for her research on eating disorders, and has published numerous book chapters and articles in academic journals, and presented at numerous national and international conferences.
Following her post-doctoral training at the University Health Network in Toronto, Dr. Carter was a Staff Psychologist in the Eating Disorders Program at the Toronto General Hospital for over 13 years. She returned to her Newfoundland roots in 2012.
Dr. Carter is registered with the NL Psychology Board.
